Panellists announced for Engage Change, Saffron Interactive’s employee engagement conference

The Engage Change event, hosted jointly by Saffron Interactive and The Learning and Performance Institute, will feature three eminent figures in employee engagement. Taking place on 25 April at the Grange St Paul’s Hotel, the conference will dissect how learning and development can solve the current employee engagement crisis.

Employee engagement is one of the issues at the forefront of every organisation’s priorities. Plummeting engagement rates have been estimated to cost UK industry as much as £340bn a year, and it falls to learning and development departments to claw some of this loss back. The Engage Change event will bring together heads of learning from a wide array of industries for action sessions, workshops and expert panels all aimed at equipping L&D professionals with the tools to fight dropping employee engagement levels.

The panellists for the conference have now been confirmed, and delegates will be able to hear from the following:

Louise MacDonald, HR Business Partner, Amec Foster Wheeler

Amec Foster Wheeler are a multinational consultancy, engineering and project management company. With around 36,000 employees in more than 55 countries, their engagement campaigns have to be truly agile and inclusive. Louise is responsible for several of these global initiatives, including a ground-breaking Diversity of thought programme, as well as many other employee engagement campaigns.

Amir Qureshi, CEO, Thomas International

Thomas International are the largest privately owned global provider of people assessment tools. Experts on engagement through behavioural insights, their analysis has helped organisations engage with their employees in over 60 countries. Standing at the Thomas helm, Amir is well placed to share the breadth of experience gained on this journey.

Vincent Dolan, Practitioner, Investors in People

Investors in People are experts in the sustained success that comes from engaging employees through proper leadership, support and management. As an experienced IIP Practitioner, Vincent has seen what works (and what doesn’t) across a whole host of organisations, and will be able to provide his insights into gaining a return on that investment in people.

With three different approaches, but similarly impressive experiences of grappling with employee engagement, the panellists will be able to describe their success stories, and pitfalls to avoid. There will also be open discussion sessions to allow for any burning employee engagement questions to be directed towards the panellists.
