The types of personal data that we request from you and the ways that we process it are determined by the requirements of the country in which the role is based, and not the country in which you reside.
We usually collect personal data directly from you when you apply for a role with us, such as your name, address, contact information, work and educational history, achievements, any assignment or test results and entitlement to work in that specific country. In addition to your role preferences we might also collect salary, location and other job preferences.
We may also collect personal data about you from third parties (such as your referees and prior employers) and from Saffron employees who interview you. It is your responsibility to obtain consent from these referees before sharing their personal information with us. Saffron will only seek information from third parties if a job offer to you has been made and will inform you that it is doing so.
Sensitive personal data is a subset of personal data and includes ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or similar beliefs, trade union membership, health, sexual orientation, as well as other categories as allowed by law. We do not seek to obtain and will not collect such data about a candidate unless, once employment is offered, we may collect health information for the sole purpose of adjusting your work environment should you require it, or other sensitive personal data to ensure compliance with other regulatory obligations.
