We raised £1,000 for the NSPCC!

On March 20, six of the Saffron Interactive team ran the Reading Half Marathon, raising an incredible £1,000 for the NSPCC, the chosen charity of former CEO Hanif Sazen.

In total the team ran 78.6 miles (13.1 miles each) with a combined finishing time of 12 hours and 23 minutes. Our initial target was £500, but thanks to the generous contributions of colleagues, family and industry friends, Saffron raised an amazing £1,000.

‘The atmosphere during the race was great,’ says Nick Baum, one of Team Saffron’s runners. ‘All of our team did themselves proud. Special mention needs to go to our substitute runner Ned Roberts, who stepped in at the last minute and finished with a fantastic time of 1 hour 32 minutes.

‘On behalf of the team, I’d like to thank all of our sponsors, and the support we’ve received has been incredible. We raised twice our original target for the NSPCC, and credit must go to everyone who donated.’
