Responsibilities and duties

• Produce innovative interactive design for a diverse client base
• Developing innovative ideas and designs for usability and accessibility
• Designing creative, fresh and engaging interactive applications, including brief and concept
• Creating detailed graphical illustrations to be utilised in training courses and online products
• Be ahead of the technology curve, establishing and maintaining company-wide processes and standards
• Be organised, confident and experienced with client communication

Qualifications and skills

• Superb design skills and a proven track record of innovative interactive design
• Knowledge and experience of designing for usability and accessibility including W3C guidelines, WCAG and DDA compliance
• Proven experience of designing to brand guidelines
• Degree educated to 2:1+ or equivalent in an appropriate subject
• Highly proficient in tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Flash
• A portfolio of engaging interactive designs for user facing projects
• Outstanding creative skills and a flair for user interface, animation and responsive design
• Passion for excellence in your work
• Time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Self-motivation with high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable

• Knowledge of print design and production
• Experience with character rigging or animation in general with After Effects
• Experience with 3D software such as Maya, Poser, Google SketchUp or similar
• Understanding of JavaScript, ActionScript, CSS, HTML or XML
• Knowledge of photography or image editing tools
• Experience of audio/video production, and editing tools
