Saffron Interactive launches ‘The LMS: Are we experiencing a sea change?’ white paper

It has been estimated that the LMS market will grow to $7.8 billion in 2018. So, what is the current state of the LMS market and where is it expanding? To answer this question and many others, Saffron Interactive, an award-winning digital learning and performance company, surveyed professionals across multiple industries on their current learning platforms.

In its white paper ‘The LMS: Are we experiencing a sea change?’ Saffron analyses the results of this survey and tries to discover what customers really need from a learning platform.

The white paper seeks to determine the current state of customer satisfaction in the LMS market, and the willingness of customers to upgrade or change system.

“Not only is the LMS market expanding, there is also a rapid shift happening among next-generation digital platforms which is leaving some organisations high and dry but providing others with strategic advantages,” notes Toby Harris, creative lead and platform product manager at Saffron Interactive.

“Our new report looks into how these technological innovations can be applied within an organisation, and assesses how they can contribute to the changing objectives of the so-called ‘LMS’”.

The white paper also compares its findings to other research into the LMS market and analyses how different factors (such as open source and proprietary systems) affect the results.
