Saffron to share how IBC are reinventing learning platforms with “OpenIBC” in free seminar at Learning Technologies

IBC, an innovative Danish business school, is disrupting the market for online business education. The seminar on 28 January at the Learning Technologies exhibition will present the radical new face of online learning, based on personalisation and networked learning, for a digital native audience.

In partnership with Saffron Interactive, IBC is spearheading the move to offer learners a ‘consumer-technology’ user experience on any device. The seminar, ‘How user experience, personalisation and social context puts learners in the driving seat’, will be delivered jointly by IBC and Saffron Interactive and takes place in Theatre 1 at 10.15am on the first day of the exhibition.

‘This case study is a fantastic example of how we’ve put the thinking behind the learning experience network into practice with a transformative, bespoke project for this business school,’ says Noorie Sazen, Saffron’s CEO. ‘This seminar will showcase how this platform has used an ‘Amazon-like’ user experience to create personalised learning paths, driven by collaboration and the generation of new insights.’

The seminar will explain:

  • How your audience expects the bespoke, personalised, experience they enjoy as consumers
  • How to win engagement from your audience in a model based on ‘pull’ instead of ‘push’
  • Best practice for ensuring your learning platform is truly multi-device and mobile-ready
  • Why social context is king if you want an ‘Amazon-like’ experience for your learners

On 29 January Saffron presents another knowledge platform success story in a seminar at the Learning & Skills exhibition which takes place alongside Learning Technologies. The case study will showcase the Digital Prevention Platform, developed in partnership with AVA (Against Violence and Abuse), winner of the European MEDEA Professional Production Award 2014 and finalist for two 2015 Learning Awards.
